“In ‘My Army’”
As a member of and NCO in the Virginia Army National Guard, for 8 1/2 years, I marched in 2 Governors inaugurations, and the 29th Inf Div reactivation ceremony.
As a Light Infantry unit, we used the ‘Leather Duece and a half’. We walked everywhere (ergo ‘Light Infantry’ )
In my Army a platoon, company, brigade, or battalion, could keep in step. Also known as marching.
The parade I’m watching, has almost no unit in step.
Call a damn ‘Jody’ why don’t you!
Nothing gets folks fired up like a large unit, marching in Cadence.
Update:
The dang Army Band was Representing! They were in step!

I just stumbled across this - I think it was some story that referenced Valiant Pharmaceuticals- and I said well, “Stuart Varney is a big fan of one of their products…”
I remember on the first take, I was rushing at the end and the way it turned out, made me laugh, so I just kept it in.
I showed it to Stuart later and he got to kick out of it
