“Ribeyes”
I bought a Beef Prime Rib primal again.
I cut thick ribeyes, two of my fat fingers (about 2” thick).
The primal was $144.50 at Costco, and I cut 8 ribeyes and two ‘butcher’s snacks’ from it. I could have easily cut 16 ribeyes from it.
$14.45 per ribeye, 16 ribeyes would have been $8.02 each.
Picture: Seasoned Ribeyes aging in the fridge. I’ll let them set for 24 hours before I package them. I do not freeze beef and try to buy beef not previously frozen. They will ‘wet age’ in vacuum sealed bags anyway.
