This was eight years ago. A flyer for my live storytelling show in Brooklyn. Look at the date- Dec 17th 2013
This was not some kind of joke or stunt- I just happened to ask two performers to come on my show to tell a story. Joy was working on a solo show about growing up in Brooklyn, and Gavin was always good for an interesting appearance. They both got along fine, and the audience didn't seem fazed or surprised that these two, and I, would be performing together.
This is the gag that I've been doing at the end of my show- it's different every time because I'm working it with local guys. But these guys had to be the best so far- with no rehearsal they pulled off the "heckling barbershoppers" routine. And their singing was great too. Have a look.
Was at your show last afternoon in Sugar Land with Greg. Fantastic, loved your performance and others and Greg's part was great with the slide show and the history. Your routine about the old commercials and how the people our age survived all of that era. It reminded me, being a "parrot head" of one of Jimmy's songs that is about "we are the people are parents warned us about". Truly enjoyed the afternoon, Thanks and keep up the good work.
